At the end of the 12 semester Dentistry degree programme, graduates are immediately able to work as dentists. An important element of the programme is a 72-week clinical training at the University Clinic of Dentistry Vienna.
Short Description
The Dentistry degree programme is offered by the Medical University of Vienna. After the three study phases with an overall minimum duration of 12 semesters, graduates are able to practice as dentists independently.
In addition to a solid scientific basis, the dentistry programme also imparts all practical and clinical skills. In the third phase, a 72- week clinical training is undertaken at the University Clinic of Dentistry Vienna. In order to be able to take courses in the requisite order without losing time, the programme needs to be started in the winter semester.
